If you click on the testcase mentioned, if the name is fully qualified, it comes up with an error that says that the machine (bugzilla.mozilla.org) you loaded the HTML from can't be found (instead of the name specified in the tag). See also bug 51047 (a different and maybe related error).

I get "resolving unknown-host.net" at the bottom, and then get a popup with "bugzilla.mozilla.org could not be found. Please check the name and try again."
FYI I'm FreeBSD 4.1 fresh pull/build 9/1/2000 (saw it with 8/28/2000 also).
Confirming with Win95 2000090908

I don't see this on Win95 2001-02-22. rjesup@wgate.com - are you still seeing this on FreeBSD? Gerv
Still there. After DNS for unknown_site.net fails to resolve, I get a "Document http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/showattachment.cgi?attach_id=13882 loaded successfully". Also, at the bottom of the screen (and perhaps more importantly) it continues to say "Transferring data from unknown_site.net".
I open this attachment in Mozilla 0.9 for Win98m and it draws a blank window... Also, should networking qa still be the qa for this bug?
"Transferring data from unknown_site.net" is now gone. The reason you get a blank page is because (if you look at the HTML) all there is on the page is an <html><body><img src="http://unknown_site.net/images/slc.gif"></body></html> Marking as resolved/fixed
