Copy paste from web page Extremely slow in 3.5. Same page copy paste in less than one second in 3.0 same web page.

I copy paste data from a subscription Web site so I cannot give url as you need a password, I do however have a screen print of the data.
I select all and Copy data from the web page and paste it into BBEdit. The Copy time is now up to 2+ minutes (spinning disk), whereas it was less than one second in Firefox 3.0.
May sound trivial but it is not. No problem with Safari, same site same data.

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.12 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

Also, please consider using the most recent Firefox 4 beta build, your bug may be resolved there.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
