When Lightning accepts an event invitation, the response email to the event organiser has a sender address of event organiser rather than event recipient. This is happening for Outlook 2007 generated events. Outlook 2003 generated events appear to be fine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. user A ( outlook 2007 ) sends user B ( TBird/Lightning ) an event request
2. user B accepts ( select calendar for this event ) and email is sent ( support outlook 2000 and 2002/xp )
3. user A checks response email and it comes from himself instead of user B

Expected Results:
Email response for accept/decline to user A should come from user B and not user A
Component: Lightning Only → E-mail based Scheduling (iTIP/iMIP)
QA Contact: lightning → email-scheduling
Version: unspecified → Trunk
It happens also on Windows XP.

Analising the attached ics event confirmation sent in step 2 there is a line:

X-MS-OLK-SENDER;CN=user A Name:mailto:user A mail

Where "user A Name" is the real name and "User A mail" is the mail address of user A sending the original invitation.

Saving the step 2 ics file removing the line and sending the modified ics file seems to solve the problem.
Also verified on:
Windows 7 x64
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; de; rv:1.9.1.9) Gecko/20100317 Lightning/1.0b1 Thunderbird/3.0.4
Still Happen. Verified on:

Windows XP SP3
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; es-ES; rv:1.9.2.14) Gecko/20110221 Lightning/1.0b2 Thunderbird/3.1.8

Does it exist any permanent fix?
Is this still an issue using the recently released Lightning 1.0?
