User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.12) Gecko/2009072221 Iceweasel/3.0.6 (Debian-3.0.6-1) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.12) Gecko/2009072221 Iceweasel/3.0.6 (Debian-3.0.6-1) After switching to an other distributive of Mandriva Linux and persisting switching to Debian 5.0 my bookmarks menu became empty (well, almost empty, it contains empty Bookmarks Toolbar). I will attach my places.sqlite and places.sqlite-journal. Please help me to restore the bookmarks. Reproducible: Always
The file places.sqlite appeared too big to be attached. Instead I upload this file to my site and post here the link: http://portonvictor.org/tmps/places.sqlite Also: I previously said that I will attach places.sqlite and places.sqlite-journal. But after I exited Firefox only places.sqlite remains. So I post only places.sqlite.
This is not a support website, see <http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Lost+Bookmarks?s=lost+bookmarks> for hints how to restore your old bookmarks.
notice publishing your places.sqlite will expose your bookmarks and history to anyone
3.5.2 has improved book marking, so i suggest upgrading to it. also, if the link above does note help, please use the support. if they can not help you, then feel free to re open this bug.
