The gray area (the Note) is pushed below the actions box.

I swore we already had a bug for this, but I can't find it.

I had fixed that bug. The choice is between:
a) Push the notice box lower but keep its full width (current)
b) Make the notice box less wide
I take it you prefer the second option? Note that this will cause the text to span more lines, of course.

Okay, from reading that bug, this behaviour was actually a fix for the actions box overlapping the background colour. After it was verified fixed, discussion started about the fix (making things worse), but nothing went further than that.

I've filed bug 511825 to revert it. Looking at the patch, reverting it is basically removing clear:both from div.simplebox in mozcommon.css (Something even I could do), so I've added it to 1.3.

We can use this bug to come up with a long-term solution.
