Firefox crashes after reading a PDF document included in a web page, only if Thunderbird is open.

The crash took place at the close of Firefox.

If Thunderbird is not open, closing Firefox is normally.



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Thunderbird
2. Open Firefox
3. Go to a web page with a PDF document included
4. Read the PDF
5. Close Firefox

The problem occurs with Adobe Reader 9.

Solution: Uninstall Adobe Reader 9 and reinstall Adobe Reader 8.

No problem on Windows 7.

There seems to be an incompatibility between Firefox, Thunderbird and Adobe Reader 9.

Crazy.  Can you get a crash ID from about:crashes and paste it here?

about:crashes is clear. I am from Germany and used German Windows 5.1 and German Firefox 3.5.5. I Opend a PDF Document and close Firefox. A Microsoft Message Box is Showing with this. In English, The Aplication does ilegal access on the Memory. I Hope of help with Update/Patch!

Please reopen/comment with further info, if you still see this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later, with a clean profile and the latest version of the plugin.
