Hey Wilson, I think the phonebook looks great. Here's some feedback. Some minor adjustments (tree = left pane, vcard = index card thingy): - the vcard should be positioned next to the tree in tree view, not snug to the right margin. try floating the tree? - the location of the vcard should be adjacent to the tree vertically when the page is not scrolled - when shrinking the window, the overall page should have a minimum width of tree + vcard - navigation should persist search terms. when switching from tree -> wall -> normal views the search terms should persist by default. - "everyone" is the only link that leads back to the default view, seems there should be a labeled way to get back to normal view besides clicking on the dino head. ideas: Home, Default, Normal, Cards? - As far as "Everyone" I think we should bury that a little so people don't always load a list of 300 vcards, which isn't very useful anyway. - centered phonebook home page is discontinuous if you click on home from another view. I think it looks better, but prefer to have it on top and be consistent with other views since a nice landing page for this app isn't vital.
The three tree issues have been addressed, can be seen on both khan and ldap.mozilla.org. As far as "Everyone" goes, I went ahead and buried it. No one really needs to see everyone in the phonebook AFAICT, so it'll stay as a hidden feature when you enter an asterisk as the search term. I think the real fix for the discontinuous homepage is to remove the logo's role as a link.

Is this bug pretty much done? There doesn't seem to be much complaints regarding the logo's role as a link.

Resolving, per comment 2. (In reply to Wilson Lee [:kourge] from comment #1) > As far as "Everyone" goes, I went ahead and buried it. No one really needs > to see everyone in the phonebook AFAICT, so it'll stay as a hidden feature > when you enter an asterisk as the search term. The buried everyone feature has since been removed.
