Bogus window appears with Eudora icon and close button.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Using the following settings:
1. 2 pane display
2. automatically open mailboxes

Actual Results:  
When incoming mail opens a box, the bogus window will appear.

Expected Results:  
No bogus window. Just mailbox.

Confirmed using the above steps.

It seems messing with the 2-pane/3-pane setting in the meantime disrupts the results. If I set 2-pane then restart this happens reliably.

Can you get a screen shot of the bogus window?  I'm wondering if it's the biff/new message indicator.

I can try, but all it looks like is the Eudora desktop icon (a little bigger than a quarter), with a red X button to close the window.

Yeah, that's it.  My guess is that this is a general TB bug.  Can you get it to repeat in TB 3b2?  Obviously there's no auto-open behavior in TB, but I don't think auto-open has anything to do with it, it's the filtering to another mailbox that's the cause.

So it doesn't happen in 3-pane mode?

I did some more experimenting and came up with the following:
1) I think you're correct that this is a mangled version of the biff window. It's not resizable (which was my initial thought), and it appears in the opposite corner from where it's supposed to.

2) The mangled biff window only appears when a mailbox is opened by the filter process. If a mailbox that is receiving incoming mail is already open, the biff window appears as normal.

Bug no longer seems to be an issue in beta 7. Status should be adjusted accordingly.
