Details

When running a vcs clone on a SVN repo, the command line was constantly "waiting". Without any progress showing that the beast is actually checking out files you wonder if it is broken or not. 

After a long time I got the code out, but it felt exactly the same as a bad checkout that didn't work.
For "vcs clone" this is fixed in 062f1d72244f. Other long running commands 
would need to be handled differently.
