Sometimes windows forgets witch browser is the default one after you reinstall mozilla or another browser,so i suggest adding a option to set default browser firefox.exe -silent -setDefaultBrowser on General with silent option ,under "always check to see if firefox is the default browser"

What i mean is that firefox to set itself silent default browser to add a option when it's the default browser like in the pic,and to add next to it a option to set it silent,like you run firefox.exe -silent -setDefaultBrowser

I mean when you check "always check to see if firefox is the default browser" in Options to execute the command firefox.exe -silent -setDefaultBrowser

That does not answer comment 5, and what the advantage is of not asking the user anymore.

Not using this option sometimes i had problems when opening some files,it will open with another browser. Anyway it's your decision.
