Whenever system is reestarted,firefox is unable to open any site.It shows "done" instantly in the status bar when URL is entered,but neither header of site is retrieved,nor the contents of page are displayed.A blank page appears as if no site has been opened.Firefox has to be reinstalled to correct it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Restart the system.
2.Open firefox.
3.Enter URL.It.doesn't open.
Actual Results:  
A blank page shows up

Expected Results:  
Opened the site.

Which Firewall is used on your system ?
Did you already tried http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode ?

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.12 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

Also, please consider using the most recent Firefox 4 beta build, your bug may be resolved there.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
