Mozilla firefox version 3.5.2 is EXTREMELY SLOW.  it freezes up non-stop.  For example, while typing in this exact box, i've gotten this far, and it has already frozen about 8 times, as i was typing.  it doesn't shut down my browser, however, everything just stops and i must wait a few seconds to start again.  This is by far, the WORST version i've ever experienced, and i can honestly say i regret ever upgrading to the latest version.  please fix this ASAP so that i can actually type something out without having to wait for the browser to catch up.

Can you do some troubleshooting like:

- Firefox's safe-mode to exclude extension/theme problems
- a new profile
- a reinstall in a new empty folder

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode or a fresh profile? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

This bug has had the CLOSEME tag for several weeks and the date in the tag is far gone. If the reporter can still see this issue, Please retest with Firefox 3.6.x or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). Then please remove the closeme tag in the whiteboard, mark the bug against the proper version and comment on the bug.
