512351 - Firefox 3.5.2 crashes when printing an e-mail from webmail.att.net

A user on support.mozilla.com has reported that Firefox on Mac OS X crashes (without crash reporter) when printing an e-mail from webmail.att.net, but not on any other websites.  The user had an HP Inkjet printer and crashed when entering print preview or attempting to start a print job on the e-mail.

I wasn't able to find anyone else with an att.net account, so I haven't been able to test this.  Webmail.att.net accounts are provided to AT&T Worldnet users, some AT&T BellSouth users, some SBC-Global/Prodigy users, and AT&T U-Verse users.

Matthew: Were we able to get the crash reports from the user? Even though they only crashed on that site it might still be related to the HP printer driver, and there are a few open bugs for that.

I wasn't able to get a report from this user, and I haven't seen any similar reports since.

I don't have a Mac or a webmail.att.net account, so I haven't tested this myself.  We can just close this WFM if it isn't happening anymore and no one can reproduce, but it would be good for someone to test first.

I am the user that reported HP printer crash when printing an email from webmail.att.net.  Everytime it happens a crash report is filed.  This problem does not occur with Safari.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.x or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
