Noticed our addons.js file is pretty big (35k compressed, 100k uncompressed). Pretty sure there are some modules in there we don't use anymore and could remove.
addons.js only has 67K but your bug is still valid. Not sure if parts of it are actually disposable, but we might go ahead and finally split up our JS files as part of this bug. This way we can more easily see when something is actually not used anymore.
