This happens on all mobile and desktop builds: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WindowsCE 5.2; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20090818 Fennec/1.0a3pre and Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux armv6l; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20090821 Fennec/1.0b3pre and Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OSX 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.2a2pre) Gecko/20090808 Fennec/1.0b3pre Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to the url provided in the bug report 2. look at the throbber once the alert has popped up. Actual Results: the throbber continues to spinp Expected Results: the throbber should not be instantiated at all

adesai, are you referring to the animated "page is loading" button that's active while the alert is shown when you say throbber?

OK, this behavior is also in Firefox. Look at the throbber on the tab rather than in the title bar. I see this with FF 3.5.2 on WinVista. It doesn't seem like a real issue to me.

sorry for bug spam. Many of the bugs which are marked invalid, I see comments telling it occurred in one version or other. But later it was fixed due to 1) by backingout the patch which made regression or 2) by fixing some other bug. So if we can identify the bug/patch/reason then we should state that and mark those as FIXED. If not mark as WORKSFORME in that case.
