When I receive invitation to events from MS exchange server.
It display an email in my inbox, with "invitation to an event" and button to click a button on top of the frame to "accept", "decline", "tentative".

But I cannot see directly if such request has a conflict;
So I need to:
 1) open the email and see its a request
 2) Go to the callendar
 3) find the request
 4) accept/decline request there.
 5) Go back to the emails
 6) Delete or move the email out of my inbox.

Would like to have much streamlined steps: only 2.
 1) Open a invitation request
See all info I need to know about it.
 3) "1" click to indicate my decision.

I don't understand, to me, the bugs referenced in this ticket are all duplicates of other bugs.

Am I wrong?
The goal of this issue is to provide some sort of view that would show the invitation in combination with the calendar. This is the case for all the bugs referenced?

It would be nice to get this into Lightning 4.0 and TB 38.

I'm willing to test.
Unfortunately I don't believe this will go into Lightning 4.0. It will likely have string changes, so the earliest possible for that would be 4.1. Aside from that it needs someone to create the patch.
This would be a great feature to have.

Outlook now shows a button [No Conflict] or [Conflicts]. When clicked it opens a sidebar showing the corresponding day. Thunderbird already has a sidebar for events that could be used for this purpose.
