Now that we're on the new site, people can no longer us the old build system to recreate a copy of the www.mozilla.org site locally for testing.  We need to document how people can do this now (or an alternative would be to have a staging server that didn't automatically move changes over to the live site).

I'll leave this bug open for now since the instructions could be improved a bit to make things clearer.

I'm working on a guide for OS X.  Once I'm done with that, I'll do a Window XP guide if I have enough time and patience with Apache + PHP setup on Windows.

I've made a guide for OS X but, maybe I should change the name as the URL implies that it's for MAC OSX Firefox Client or ambiguous.

How do I make it show up in https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mozilla.org/Mac_OSX_Setup ?

I'm also working on a windows version with Windows 7 and an Ubuntu version after that but, they are slow going because I'm running them virtualized.

About your question in comment #3, I moved this page to the Mozilla.org section on the wiki and it is now at:

https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mozilla.org/MAC_OSX_Stage_Setup

The old page redirects automatically so any existing links should continue to work.

Closing old Mozilla.org website bugs due to them not being relevant to the new Python-based Bedrock system. Re-open if this is a critical bug and should be resolved on the new system too.
