This was functional in versions prior to 0.6 and the new UI in the form of about:weave. The problem is that if Weave is disabled for some reason there is currently no way to re-enable it so it can sync.

Running Fedora selinux always caused weave to disable itself because the crypto component was having trouble (this is fixed now) but it still caused Weave to disable syncing for itself. I had to dive into about:config in order to re-enable it and now everything works fine.

Reproducible: Always
OS: Linux → All
Flags: blocking-weave1.0+
Target Milestone: --- → 1.0

Assume Weave is always enabled (don't store it in a pref) and only disable if checks fail on startup.
