User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2
Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.23 (20090812)
When saving an attachment (from Gmail Imap), for example " קו מוצרי מדיאטק.pdf " then:
a) First the save as window opens up and the file-name is written ok.
b) When I press ok and the document is saved the name is changed to "__ _____ ______.pdf". This is the name that is listed in the download window and on the file once it is down-loaded.
If I instead try to open it directly (without saving it) it will list the hebrew name as it downloads but in foxit reader it will show the file-name as "__ _____ ______.pdf"
If trying to attach a file with hebrew file-name it will give error message when trying to send: "Sending of message failed: Unable to open C:\.... __ _____ ______.pdf"
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a mail with attachment with hebrew file name to Imap accound
2. Chose save attachment, save at desktop for example
3. See file-name
1b. Write new mail
2b. Attache file with hebrew file-name
3b. Press send,
Actual Results:
See above in details
I'm using English version of Thunderbird and English windows XP media edition.

Can you test with the Beta of Thunderbird 3? I think this is a duplicate of bug 332110

With 3.0b3 it works ok to save file and to open directly to acrobat. And it works to attache file with hebrew file-name.
To foxit it won't open correctly. When trying to open directly to foxit I get error-message "C:\DOCUM~1\...\Temp\?? ??? ?????.pdf Could not open file. File not found" However, the same thing happens when trying to open hebrew file-name from hard-disk, so it seems that this is a bug in Foxit.
