Preferences agrees I want http://www.google.com, but on opening all I get is file:///home/me. This is a fresh install. I removed and re-installed after deleting .mozilla/firefox, same thing. I have tried everything, but it's really stubborn. Had same problem on another machine, fixed by reinstalling, but not this time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.All I do is start firefox 2. 3. Actual Results: Displays file:///home/me Expected Results: Display google.com I even tried replacing the firefox directory with one from a firefox 3.5 (that worked) from another machine. Same thing.
