User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.0; U; en) Presto/2.2.15 Version/10.00 Build Identifier: 2.0.0.23 (20090812) When you send an encrypted email, Thunderbird stores the encrypted message in the outbox. This is not useful since it is encrypted with somebody else's public key. I can't possibly recover the plain text. If for some reason I used to wrong public key of my recipient, I can't resend it encrypted with the new one. I would make more sense to either: 1. store the message in the outbox in plain text. 2. store the message encrypted with MY public key. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Send a PGP encrypted message to somenone using the Enigmail add-in 2. 3. Actual Results: It saves an unusable form of the message in the outbox. Expected Results: It should have saved the message in plain text. This behaviour is the result of Enigmail and Thunderbird interacting. I don't know which of the two is most responsible for this behaviour.
The isssue is withint the enigmail extension. This is an INVALID thunderbird bug.
