[smtabmail] Tab bar not hidden when a single tab remains after closing from tab context menu
The tab bar is set to be hidden when only one tab is present. Closing one of multiple tabs with the [x] button correctly hides the tab bar. However, if two tabs remain, and I close one of them with "Close Tab" from the context menu, the tab bar is still visible even though just a single tab remains. The tab bar should also disappear in this case. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:220.127.116.11pre) Gecko/20090902 SeaMonkey/2.0b2pre
This is the same as in Thunderbird. AFAIR there is even a bug for it. But I don't find at the moment.
I have double-checked this on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:18.104.22.168pre) Gecko/20090902 Shredder/3.0b4pre, and observed there that closing the last but one tab from the context menu also hides the tab bar as expected. Thus, it may be fixed by now in Thunderbird if it ever was in there to start with, but I couldn't find any matching bug either.
Under Linux, it seems as if the hiding only fails if I close a *background* tab, regardless if via context menu or middle click. Closing the front tab correctly hides the tab strip.
Currently, the number of tabs (numTab) is only decreased if you closed the current tab, which is obvious nonsense. ;-)
