User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 When browsing to http://torstatus.blutmagie.de/, FireFox suddenly consumes a lot of memory. (RSS) FireFox-3.5.3: 136mb RSS Konqueror: 56mb RSS Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://torstatus.blutmagie.de/ 2. Open with FireFox (and Konqueror and maybe other browsers) 3. Compare memory useage Actual Results: FireFox uses twice as much memory as Konqueror Expected Results: Memory useage should be about the same
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4pre) Gecko/20090902 Shiretoko/3.5.4pre I see no problem until I reload. But that problem seems nearly fixed or in any case improved with the latest trunk build. Trunk builds can be downloaded here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-central/

confirmed on Linux, 3.7a1 nightly builds use about the same amount of memory konqueror does.
