All toolbars disappear and the only option I have is to close and start over. The previous session is not remembered. VERY FRUSTRATING Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Checking Email on Yahoo 2.Changing Yahoo Mail Accounts 3.
Did you already tried the Firefox safemode ? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode Do you have any unusual plugins installed (tools/addons/plugins) like some yahoo ones ?
I've noticed now that every time I switch between Yahoo Email accounts is when I encounter my problem. I will be logged into one of my two Yahoo Email accounts. I will sign out properly. When I sign in to the other account and hit enter to log in......the screen goes blank to nothing but a header bar with the Mozilla ICon. My only options are minimize, mazimize, restore which does nothing and exit. Any other windows or applications I had open all disappear.
I have been having the same problem and tested your issue with multiple yahoo e-mail accounts. Sure enough, the first account worked fine, but when switching to the second e-mail account is when I encountered the blank screen.
Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.12 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
