Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4pre) Gecko/20090903 SeaMonkey/2.0b2pre - Build ID: 20090903002357
In the last few days, when I click [OK] after creating a new filter (with a name which makes sense to me and is different from all other filters' names), that sense-making name is _replaced_ by an auto-generated name based on the first condition.
If I want to make _my_ name stick, I have to re-edit the filter and change only the name. This is tedious.
I believe that this regression was created by the landing of bug 457745.

DUP of Bug 510703(Core issue, for issue of bug 457745 Comment #61), isn't it?
SeaMonkey specific change is required to resolve the problem on SeaMonkey?

Seems so, and I also noticed the (ugly IMHO) workaround mentioned in bug 457745 comment #62.
