Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.1) Gecko/20090715 Lightning/1.0pre Thunderbird/3.0b3
Installed Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.1) Gecko/20090715 Lightning/1.0pre Thunderbird/3.0b3
to replace my "production" Thunderbird 2
Noticed that I am unable to zoom in/out the text by
Keyboard/mouse -> Ctrl + mousewheel
Keyboard -> Ctrl + +/- keys
Menu -> View - Zoom
In fact, the View-Zoom Menu is greyed out.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Uninstall Thunderbird 2 (that is working properly)
2. Remove all Thunderbird settings (including profile)
3. Install Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.1) Gecko/20090715 Lightning/1.0pre Thunderbird/3.0b3
4. Straight away noticed that the menu->view->zoom option is grey out. ctrl ++ and ctrl & mouse scrollwheel) also didn't work (no zooming of text)
5. Reinstall and experience same problem.

Which text are you trying to zoom? Message text, something in Lightning, something like a web page in a tab?

Michal, does this happen with all messages?
Component: Mail Window Front End → Message Reader UI
QA Contact: front-end → message-reader
Version: unspecified → 3.0

Just updated to Thunderbird 3.0b4.
[Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4pre) Gecko/20090915 Lightning/1.0pre Thunderbird/3.0b4]
The "problem" does NOT exist anymore.
