Often on large folders (with 5000+ messages in some cases) I can't scroll the message list using the scroller itself.

If I click on the track on either side of the scroller I can scroll by a page at a time. Dragging on the scroller might make the list jump a few messages in either direction, but then movement stops.

Restarting Thunderbird appears to fix the problem. I also saw this behaviour with 3.0b3.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Restarting fixes it? That's strange.

Hi, i can confirm this on TB 3.0b4 and OSX 10.5 and 10.6.
I have large newsgroup archive with 50000+ items. If i go to a newsgroup its impossible scrolling wiht the slider itself, only if i click above or below the blue slider i can scroll up/down.

The behavior was gone if i change the height of the list view (where the mails/messages was shown).

Reproducible: Often
This should be fixed in the latest nightly build.
So in the next beta is this fixed?
no, there is no next beta - there will be a 3.0 rc1 build in a small number of weeks.
