Details

When generating an informational notification, the Add-ons Manager generates a PRIORITY_WARNING_LOW notification, but then overrides the icon with what it thinks is the correct type="info" icon, but even when using the Classic theme the colour is wrong, and it never uses 3rd party icons on Linux and only uses them on other platforms if they happen to use the same chrome URLs.
We stopped using the notifications in bug 552965
