Description would be: "bugs related to search capabilities in Thunderbird, including the quick search widget and the faceted search (new in TB3)"

most of our descriptions start with "Problems ..." so suggest

   Problems with message search capabilities in Thunderbird, including quick 
   search widget and faceted search.

Is there anything we need to add or subtract to somewhat future proof it?  And, does adding the word "message" make it worse, or better? ex. do we want people filing bugs here for address book search?

What's the point in future proofing?  Can't we change the description if it becomes stale?

My use of future proof is extreme (as you point out) and not quite what I was after. What I am wondering is whether andrew and others have other stuff planned medium term that might impact the description

ASAP that'd be great, as we expect a lot of searches/new bugs in the next week.
