I've uploaded contrib builds of Firefox for Solaris to mozilla.org ftp along with *.mar files.
I would like have access to AUS2 to upload the snippets.
Thanks!

This isn't a request we can grant, unfortunately. AUS2 does not have the kind of ACLs that are needed for us to grant access to others.
You could workaround this by setting up your own AUS server, which would require changing the default prefs to point to it (http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/browser/app/profile/firefox.js#117).

KaiRo just informed me that you're using aus2-community.mozilla.org as the update server for Firefox Solaris builds - cc'ing him so he can make a decision on it.

Alfred Peng already has access to aus2-community for exactly that reason, right?
We usually only have one person per product with full (root) access to the server, the uploads of snippets should be done through a build user account that can be created by this person, with is Alfred in the Solaris case, AFAIK.

Robert,
I got an email from Ginn explaining that Alfred has left Sun, which is the reason he was requesting for access.
I guided him to bugzilla, which is the reason for this bug.

Ah, that is unfortunate as Alfred had just learned how to do AUS stuff but then this all makes sense.
In this case, I wonder if the access created fro Alfred in bug 487208 comment #26 needs to be revoked and replaced with access for Ginn.
Also bug 487208 was never actually closed, we probably should figure out next steps on both that one and the one here at the same time.

I'm still there to help out on the Solaris contributed builds if possible.

That sounds good to me. Please grant the access to Ginn.

Actually all the issues are resolved for bug 487208 already. I'm fine with closing it as FIXED. I assume that to grant the access to Ginn should happen in this newly created bug.

Over to server-ops to fulfill the actual access request.
Ginn: you'll likely need to attach your ssh public key to this bug before access can be granted.

Sorry, I don't have a chance to try it until now.
But I got "Connection refused" when I connect.
$ ssh cb-ausstage01.sj.mozilla.org
ssh: connect to host cb-ausstage01.sj.mozilla.org port 22: Connection refused
$ ssh aus2-community.mozilla.org
ssh: connect to host aus2-community.mozilla.org port 22: Connection refused
In ~/.ssh/config, I have
Host cb-ausstage01.sj.mozilla.org
User ginn.chen@sun.com
Host aus2-community.mozilla.org
User ginn.chen@sun.com
Did I miss something?

Ginn,
Try the following :
Login as user ginnchen to cb-jumphost01.sj.mozilla.com (forward your keys..so do an ssh -A ginnchen@cb-jumphost01.sj.mozilla.com)
Once you're in, ssh root@aus2-community and you should be in.
Let me know if this doesn't work.
