The Thunderbird team is going to release Thunderbird 3 Beta 4 on 22nd September 2009, and we'd like to have the main builds added to bouncer for downloads.

Because we have a few locales that missed b3 and b2, I needed to trick patcher into generating proper updates for these to b4. The side effect is that I gain b2 and b1 partial updates to b4.

Normally, I wouldn't need these for en-US, just for the locales, but becuase of how bouncer checks en-US links and just s/en-US/[locale]/ at download time, I need to push the en-US files as well.

Nick, can you add bouncer configs for the following partials ? Thanks.

I've set this up. To be honest I would have just given those few locales completes.

Yes, I considered that, but it was something I did for the previous beta, and wanted to see if I could teach patcher to do the right thing.

It worked, and the side effect is that I also had en-US partials, so I figured why not?
