STR

1) Hold Ctrl while triggering a global search (typically from the "Search All Messages" global search box above an existing faceted search result):
a) Ctrl+Enter after typed global search terms in the "Search all Messages" box widget
b) Ctrl+Enter on global search autocomplete entry
c) Ctrl+Click on global search autocomplete entry

Actual Result
a) Nothing
b) and c) currently open in a new tab, but only because of Bug 716058. After fixing that bug, recheck here for the correct behaviour of b) and c).

Expected Result

a)b)c) Open global search results in a new tab

Fix bug 716058 to make the behaviour transparent and consistent, especially for global searches from an existing faceted search results tab:
- global search without accelerator will always open in same tab
(except from 3pane, where we always open in a new tab)
- global search with accelerator Strg / Cmd will always open in new tab (this bug)
