Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20090914 Minefield/3.7a1pre
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20090914 Minefield/3.7a1pre

Each day minefield installs a new version of itself (good). Until a few days ago it gave a briefish dialog about checking extension/plugin compatibility, but for the last few days that has gone on so long I have given up and canceled it. When I do that minefield then starts and runs OK.
My extensions are: Vmware remote console 2.5.0.122581 (which does not fully work)
My plugins are: Adobe Acrobat, Google Earth, Google update, Java Deployment Toolkit, Java(TM) Platform SE 6 U15, Mozilla Default plug-in, Shockwave Flash, Silverlight plug-in, Vmware remote console plug-in (maybe this is the bit of vmware that does not work), Windows live photo gallery, Windows Presentation Foundation.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Let minefield update itself with the next nightly build
2. Sit and wait while the compatibility checker spine for ages
3.
Actual Results:
It may be that if I did wait long enough it would complete...

Expected Results:
At most a minute or two delay

I am on Windows 7 RC1 64-bit, ie living dangerously and the issue may be due to an OS issue not to you.
