User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_5_8; en-US) AppleWebKit/532.0 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/4.0.204.0 Safari/532.0 Build Identifier: 3.4.1 In 3.4.1 Bugzilla's query page now uses a different identifier for the comment to search for (long_desc, long_desc_type have both been changed for some reason to longdesc and longdesc_type). However, the identifier that is produced in the xml is still the original identifier (long_desc). Reproducible: Always Expected Results: Expected result is that the api be restored to use long_desc and long_desc_type for identifiers in the query page to match what is returned in the xml for a bug.

As far as I can tell, the API is not broken as the XML file didn't change. So you still get the data as expected. CGI parameters passed to HTML files are not supposed to be used by third-party clients so you cannot call it an API. The bug which changed long_desc to longdesc is bug 463002, for the record.
