I like the link to the new standalone donate page, but I think the end-user may expect some amo footer - maybe with some legal info - not sure. Is there a reasoning to not have the footer? Is this because this is an intermediary page?

No, wait; I'm smoking crack -- this is the first-run page, so I'm actually not sure if that's expected or not.

Note that Firefox's start page has a header and a footer: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.5.3/firstrun/.
