Caught that in the Error console :
2009-09-17 10:41:33	gloda.fundattr	ERROR	Message with subject '[TribuMac] Votre annonce : Vends Imp?rialisme II' somehow lacks a valid author. Bailing.
2009-09-17 10:41:33	gloda.indexer	WARN	Problem during [job:message delta:1 id:null items:7 offset:1 goal:7], trying to recover. Problem was at undefined:undefined: [object StopIteration]

That was repeated Three times - probably because I have three copies of the message in that mailbox.

asuth, is this not a dupe of some other existing blocker?

Yeah, the main problem here is that it repeatedly tries to index bad messages.
There's also the issue of downgrading the bailing to something that doesn't
show up, but I am likely just going to slipstream that in with the fix to mark
messages as bad.

Why can't fix the fact that the attached email will never get indexed ? I was complaining about the messages in the console - I was trying to make gloda work better.
Attachment #401174 - Attachment mime type: message/rfc822 → text/plain
It has no 'From' or 'Reply-To' header payloads. Gloda has a data-model for messages, and we assume that every message has an author. This seems like a reasonable constraint.

I think it makes more sense for someone to write an extension that fixes bad messages than to have gloda try and handle wacky cases like this in a sensible fashion.

I don't know, what this error produced. "Templates" or "Draft"? There I have messages without author and without subject.
