Build 2000-09-07-04M18: NT4, Overview: Add an AOL account and notice that Account Settings, mail folder and Message|Move submenu displays "Mail for ", without the name of the account. Steps to reproduce: 1. In a migrated profile add an AOL account with the Account Wizard 2. In the Account Wizard's last dialog select the Finish button, notice that Account Settings displays "Mail for ". 3. Select the OK button to close the Account Settings dialog Actual Results: a. NT4: Also notice that the following only display Mail for ": - mail folder After opening Account Settings it now displays "Mail for user@aol.com". Select OK to close Account Settings and the mail folder and Message|Move Message submenus still display "Mail for ". Workaround: Close and reopen the mail window Expected Results: After the Account Wizard creates the AOL account, the name of the account (Mail for user@aol.com) should be reflected immediately in Account Settings, the mail folder and the Message|Move To submenus. Additional Informatin: Using the same scenarios on Mac and Linux produce slightly different results. In all cases closing and reopening the mail window fixes the problem: b. Mac: - the mail folder displays "Mail for " - Message|Move Message menu displays the correct format - Context menu, Move|Message to submenu dispalys "Mail for " c. Linux: - the mail folders displays "Mail for user@aol.com" in the folder pane - the Message|Move Message submenu displays "Mail for ".

Whiteboard: [b3 need info]
Update: Using builds 2000-09-11 on win98, mac and linux, for all platforms, the user name is not reflected immedialtely, but it is reflected after you close the app and reopen. This is a simple workaround to see the account username and can be nsbeta3-.
per mail triage meeting will "-" this because it works properly after exiting and reopening app.

Marking Invalid since this problem occurs with AOL accounts and to some extent Webmail accounts and should be logged in Bugscape (bugscape# 3002).
