User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 5.0; U; en) Presto/2.2.15 Version/10.00 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 On many many web-sites I get a crash, saying 'The exception unknown exception (0xc0000000) occurred in the application at location 0x03c4ef67. I put the download site of safari just as an example (Safari doesn't work under Win2k), as I started looking for another browser to have temporary internet access. I succeeded with Opera. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open http://www.apple.com/safari/download/ 2. 3. Actual Results: Firefox crashes. Expected Results: Firefox display the web page.

Managing the plugins solved the problem. After that the plugin 'QuickTime Plugin-7.1.3' became disabled things worked fine again.

Probably because you are using quicktime 7.1.3 is why it was creashing. It you use 7.6.4 or later I don't imagine any problems. That old quicktime has major security holes
