Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. view any web page which is a txt file 2. 3. Actual Results: formating is not good file is displayed as modified with extra html tags Expected Results: display txt file like any text editor Example took from google (filetype:txt)

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.12 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. It seems fixed. no problem with following files from google http://www.anmt.org/license.txt http://www.orleanslife.info/terms_of_use.txt tested with 3.6.12/macos

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
