User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en-GB) Presto/2.2.15 Version/10.00 Build Identifier: "Reclaim your inbox?" I've lost my INBOX!!! I've moved from The Bat! after loosing mail in one of my folders, now I am on Thunderbird thinking it is all nice and safe - and this happenned again! I've lost all my mail from one of my emails - IS THERE A **** LIMIT TO A DISK SPACE OR HOW MANY MESSAGES ARE IN THE FOLDER? If so - how hard is it to make a code to check it - you are programmers!, All my mail since 2005 have been lost. Glad I still have backup from The Bat, now I AM MOVING TO MS OUTLOOK 2007 - they claim to have 20Gb of mail at a time with no problem. Wasted so much time on this **** software.. Reproducible: Always Actual Results: lost my mail! Expected Results: not to loose it
Limits are here http://kb.mozillazine.org/Limits_-_Thunderbird#Limitations_of_Microsoft_Windows Space limit is related to Windows and not to Thunderbird. but are you sure that you have received a mail virus and your AV have quarantined all inbox? If you want help us, you must provide others information.

I use KAV, no it didn't quarantine entire inbox. TB version latest 3 beta.
Did you reach the limits given in #1. ? What happens if you remove the .msf files from your profile ?

Reporter, any reply to comment #3? It is possible that your issue is related to bug #517467? Your Inbox is sort by date grouped by sort?

Sorry, I cannot help to this issue anymore as I've switched to Outlook 2007 since it happened. Around 14 thousand emails been recovered and Outlook is still stable, today is 6th of October and have lost nothing so far. Fingers crossed.
Closing Incomplete for lack of answers (see comment #5): there is nothing in this bug that can make us fix it. Feel free to reopen if you can provide more information.
