User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.14) Gecko/2009090216 Ubuntu/9.04 (jaunty) Firefox/3.0.14 Build Identifier: Testopia 2.2 with Bugzilla 3.2.4 When we export the testcases from any Testopia project, the csv file is generated but the content in the fields contain html tags (
,....) which resemble the formating that was used to describe the test case. when exporting to csv file, as far as I understand, there should NOT be HTML tags present along with the data. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open any project 2.select testcases tab 3.export to csv file (but make sure that the description in the filed has some kind of formating as in list and tabs...) Actual Results: The CSV file is generated, but the fields contain html tags Expected Results: there should not be HTML tags along with the data.
I also have this problem, I believe this is due to using the numbering format in the case of the action and expected results. I exported a list of 8 cases to csv and opened in MS Excel 2007, and the action and expected results have the below data. For the set_up and break_down, I did not use numbering and only typed "stuff" and there is no html code there. "

Create test case for rate plan that other test cases are currently created for

Create test case by typing directly into testopia and not copying or pasting from another file
..."
