User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Firefox is not displaying or using the right font size in google docs, it is out by a factor of two points. It is not just a rendering issue, it is actually putting the wrong font in the google docs formating menu too. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open any google doc 2. Select Edit, Document Styles 3. Set font size to, say 10pt, and tick make default for any new doc 4. save and exit 5. Select New, Document Actual Results: Font size for normal text is 12pt ... and it says 12 pt on the tool bar Expected Results: Font size for normal text is 10pt and it should say 10 pt in the tool bar Likewise if you set default to 8pt you get 10 pt text when you open a new document. Works fine in IE and Chrome. Even if you work around by undersizing the font, this makes it too small for collaborators who are using the other browsers because they see it at the real font size (ie really 8 pt)
Note the difference in font selected and actual font on the tool bar above it
I have a similar problem, which I think is a closely related (if not the same) bug. When I open a new Google document, the font size is 18 point regardless of what size I have set as the document default. The font size also switches back to 18-point after a double carriage-return. Like Jon, I can confirm that the issue is not present in Chromium or Epiphany.
I'm acutally using 3.5.5.
