In AMO 5.2 (next release) we would like to start exposing locale data to add-on developers. My understanding is that Daniel's scripts already parse this out and it's just a matter of exporting it to AMO's db. I filed bug 518707 to update our table with a locale column which should be run by Tuesday, after which we can start exporting. Thanks!

Any updates on this?

Metrics team needs to look at changing the export script to include this new data. I looked in the other bugs and didn't see an attachment for what the new schema looks like or what the expected format of the data going into it should be. Can you comment on that for me?

The format is the same as all the other fields -- the "locale" column was added to store a serialized array of the locales and the number of occurrences of each.

Daniel, I think you may have fixed this bug and forgotten to comment? I am seeing locale data in production now.

This was implemented and rolled out. If you guys wish to re-import older data, I can easily do so. Just give me a date range. It takes a couple of minutes to run one day. If you wanted to re-run all the data, I'd need to schedule that so as not to compete with normal processing but even that can be done. Just open a new bug if you want that.
