trying to go to any ftp URL only states "Beginning FTP transaction" in
statusbar, the cursor turns into wait-cursor - and then nothing happens.
This was a bug filed about a tar.gz build. According to invalid status in bug
51330, only Installer builds are valid to file bugs about. I wasn't aware of
this. Setting invalid.
