Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the options window
2. Turn on the error console
3. Click on the Update button in the Addons Manager
4. Check out the error console

Actual Results:
The error console spits out the following error:

Error: not well-formed

Works for me in Fennec 1.1 and trunk.

Yep, same. wfm on 1.1 RC and build:
