I usually install mozilla as my own user in /tmp/package and may not remember
correct, but i believe i have installed PSM there several times before, without
problems.
Now, when i click the button to install linux PSM
(as found at http://docs.iplanet.com/docs/manuals/psm/psm-mozilla/index.html)
i only get an error:

This was a bug filed about a tar.gz build. According to invalid status in bug
51330, only Installer builds are valid to file bugs about. I wasn't aware of
this. Setting invalid.
Status: NEW → RESOLVED

Resolution: --- → INVALID
This was due to the glibc bug; upgrading to glibc 2.1.3-21 from RH fixed it.
There is another bug on iplanet download page, js errors appearsing,
filed that as bug 52020.
Same errors also commented about in bug 50444, an "PSM: Error -228" install bug
marked WFM
