In Mac, I'm not able to resize the Profile manager(pm) window. There is bug for 
no scroll bar in PM window (50846) which seems to be kinda fixed as per gbush. 

So in Mac with no Scroll bar and not resizable, I cannot choose different 
profiles and start mozilla. (Assuming you have more profiles).

Please convince hyatt to fix 50846. The code that puts up this window is not my 
domain, and this solution seems a might hacky.

We can make profile manager window to have a resize handle, it is an easy fix.
But, by adding the resize handle to the window, we resurrect bug 25052. Also, it
looks like really bad with resize handle getting overlapped with the Start
Mozilla (Start Netscape) button on Profile Manager window and Finish button on
CreateProfile Wizard screen. The right solution would be to have a scroll bar on
the tree widget when needed (bug 50846). Because Profile Manager is one of the
consumers the tree widget, what about all others who wants to use tree widget on
mac....? && it used to work in the past.

If we decide to fix this bug instead of bug 50846, we may also need to move the
positioning of the buttons on profilemanager screens. Adding ben to the cc list
for such a case.

I can't believe you guys are even discussing this.  With 1.25 inches tree
height, and about 0.125 inch per item, this window still supports having about
10 profiles, right?  The vast majority of users have exactly one profile. I'll
bet not one person in a thousand has more than 2 or 3. If you're so concerned
about it, just make the window taller, and you should easily be able to handle
everyone who is not in Netscape QA. Removing PDTP2 for reconsideration. This bug
does not even come close to fitting the P3 profile.

If I can see 3 profiles with no problems, then we don't need this fix.  Bhuvan,
please attach a screenshot that shows 3 or fewer profiles having a problem and
I'll reconsider.  nsbeta3- pending proof we need this.

I can see upto 7 profiles without any problems. 8th profile is slightly hidden.
9th onwards are invisible (the need for scroll bar starts here). However, one
can always use arrow keys to navigate across profile names.

So, Can't provide a screen shot that has problem with 3 or fewer profiles.

I see scrollbars on the profilemanager window on mac. Making this one WFM.

Anyway, there should be a way (will bug needs to be filed, if there isn't one) 
to put the resize handle and have it not encroach on to other widgets.
