519179 - Problems with setting up Junk Folders

In account settings, tell TB to move junk into account's junk folder

AR:
- no junk folder for account created
ER:
- create junk folder for account

Thereafter, set local folders to move junk into local folder's junk folder
AR:
- junk folder setting of account's folder was overwritten and changed to moving junk to local folder's junkf.
- Manually changing it back created the account's junkf then.
- Local folder's junk folder was created, but didn't use junk icon at first (only after restart)
ER:
- don't overwrite other accounts' setting when changing local folder setting
- use junk icon for newly created local folders junkf immediately

Additionally, there's Bug 351811 (Marking spam as Junk fails to move it to Junk folder)

Your first problem sounds like bug 505949, which landed on 2009-09-24. That appears to be before your version, but could you make sure it is still there in a current nightly?

Sounds same problem as Bug 497288. Restart is really mandatory? Context menu/Open won't change icon?

Unfortunately, I don't have time to test this any further. Maybe someone else can test with a fresh install of TB3.0 release build:

- what are default settings (in tools, in accounts, do we have junk folders in folder tree etc.)
- do STR as above
- check if bugs still occur

Closing as INCOMPLETE per comment #4, because of no additional information from bug opener, and because there is Bug 497288 already.
If you think Junk case and "Copies&Folders" folder case(drafts, archives, ...) should be separated, re-open this bug and remove description about Junk from Bug 497288, please.
