Here's a step-by-step and screenshots of what I mentioned in Bug 519215, comment #1

Steps:
1) search with lotsa matches in inbox, and few (3) matches in feed folder
2) filter for Mail folder: feed folder (3 correct matches, involving 2 people, person A (called Hope): 1 post; person B (called Sokwanele): 2 posts) [screenshot 1, below]
3) exclude person A (2 matches left - ok)
4) exclude person B (0 matches left - ok) [screenshot 2, below]
5) now re-include person A by clicking on very right of facet

Actual result [screenshot 3, below]
- 1 result involving person A ("Hope") shows up (ok), indicating that
- search restraint "not involving person A" has been removed (ok)
- but: person A still striked through and listed under "not involving" (bug)

Expected result
- 1 result, with person A listed under "involving any of" and not striked through

Pretty sure this is a dupe of something sid fixed.
