51936 - Green diamond does not toggle from the 4th thread up

Linux (2000-09-08-08 M18)
Win32 (2000-09-08-06 M18)
Mac (2000-09-07-04 M18)
1. Launch Messenger
2. Click on Thread icon 
3. Select a thread that contains 7 threads, all unread
4. Click on the Next button, it opens the thread
5. Keep on clicking the Next button, 
Actual result: the thread changes to Read status up to the 3rd level.
As it reaches the 4th thread and up, it does not change to Read (green diamond
does not go away). I need to close and expand the thread again to see it change
to Read

Expected result: It should change to Read status without having to close and
expand the thread

Additional observation: Green diamond in the 4th thread and up does not toggle

This occurs on all platforms.

Reporter (fenella): is this bug still an issue for you?  It works for me, 
1.3 and 1.4, Windows 2000.
